Margaret Ward serves as a Senior Consultant
at McNeil Creative Enterprises, bringing more than 30 years of experience helping nonprofit organizations strengthen fundraising strategy, diversify revenue, and build the systems needed for long-term sustainability. She advises clients on development assessments, funding strategy, donor prospecting, and resource development, helping organizations align fundraising efforts with their mission and strategic goals.
Throughout her career, Margaret has designed and implemented fundraising systems that have supported consistent revenue growth and expanded organizational capacity. Her expertise in government grants, foundation funding, and institutional giving enables her to identify funding opportunities that align with organizational priorities while helping clients develop thoughtful, sustainable approaches to growth.
Margaret holds a degree in Arts and Humanities with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C., and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Committed to strengthening the nonprofit sector, Margaret currently serves as Board Secretary for the D.C. Theater Arts Collaborative and as a member of the Advancement Committee for Bishop McNamara High School.
